Geographical Place Names of Tambaroora, Hill End and Surrounds
Some names are old, some are new, some official, some unoffical, and some known only to those from way back in the day. Oh yeah and some just bloody moved to somewhere else!!!
Samuels Flat
Comment: Sir Saul Samuel and his brother Lewis Samuel were active in all aspects of the early mining at the Tambaroora, the Flat was named after both or either of these two gentlemen.
