23 Sep 1871 - Red Hill, Tambaroora. This 1/2 acre Dam was applied for by John Smith, Edward Haynes and Another for sluicing purposes. The dam was originally constructed about 7 or 8 years ago in connection with a Pug Mill, and abandoned by different occupiers from time to time. Exact area unknown. ⁽⁵³⁸⁾
