The buildings in the foreground is Chinatown consisting of bark and timber buildings and fences. The corrugated iron roof of the General Store on Lot 2 Section 1 run by On Gay can be seen centre left of the image. The roof tops of the Chinese Joss House on Lot 3 or 4 of Section 1 can also be seen in the centre of the image. Saint Saviours Church of England Church in the left centre of image is located on Lot 4 and 5 of Section 2. The image in the Town Views Menu shows the location of identified Lots and buildings.
