Geographical Place Names of Tambaroora, Hill End and Surrounds
Some names are old, some are new, some official, some unofficial, and some known only to those from way back in the day. Oh yeah and some just bloody moved to somewhere else!!!
Bald Hill Creek, now Hill End Creek
Comment: Originally known as Bald Hill Creek, it flowed from Hill End down to the Turon River, name changes saw it change to Hill End Creek from Hill End down to the junction with Sawpit Gully where its name changed to Oakey Creek down to the Turon.
