Geographical Place Names of Tambaroora, Hill End and Surrounds
Some names are old, some are new, some official, some unofficial, and some known only to those from way back in the day. Oh yeah and some just bloody moved to somewhere else!!!
Camp Hill
Comment: This site is more a low ridge then a Hill, the Commissioners Camp, also known as the Police Reserve was positioned on the northern part of the Hill, overlooking Tambaroora Creek to the north and the township to the east.
