Geographical Place Names of Tambaroora, Hill End and Surrounds

Some names are old, some are new, some official, some unofficial, and some known only to those from way back in the day. Oh yeah and some just bloody moved to somewhere else!!!

Hill End Village

Comment: Formerly known as Bald Hills and later Forbes then finally Hillend and again to Hill End, it was never proclaimed a Town, it remained only a Village. Offically the name was one word "Hillend" but gradually it became two words. ⁽⁶⁵³⁾
