This Section may have originally been part of Section 8 as Rosanna MURRAY in 1863 applied for and had approved an application for a "Improved Land" purchase in Section 8, the area of the Lot matches with Lot 2 Section 20 and which is known to have been purchased by Rosanna MURRAY. No maps show Section 8 covering this area so it may have been very early after the first town surveys were undertaken.

Lot 8 was sub-divided in 1874, Samuel BADMAN sold 16&frac;12 perches of the Lot and was part of a Joint Tenancy with two others. He kept the remainder of 24 roods &frac;14 perches.
