| Section 7A has lots drawn on the 1877 map but are un-numbered. The 1892 Town map has the Lots drawn and numbered, thou this was done at a later date during the maps lifetime as the current map until its replacement. Only Lot 1 was ever sold, attempts were made to auction the other Lots on two occasions in 1894 and 1895 but were never bid for. The Lots were reverted to Crown Land in 1917 when they were revoked. |

| Section Notes |
| This Section may have originally extended to cover Section 20 as Rosanna MURRAY in 1863 applied for and had approved an application for a "Improved Land" purchase in Section 8, the area of the Lot matches with Lot 2 Section 20 and which is known to have been purchased by Rosanna MURRAY. No maps show Section 8 covering this area so it may have been very early after the first town surveys were undertaken. In 1871 Lot 6 was split to make two Lots, one was 39 perches the other 26½ perches |

| Note: | This Lot was first purchased by Josiah STEVENSON in 1864 (Vol.9 Folio 119). He then sold it to John GOLDING in 1867 and a new Certificate of Title was issued (Vol.48 Folio 44). John GOLDING sold part of this Lot in 1871 to James WEBB, consisting of 39 perches. The reference to this new Lot was referred to as "part of Allotment 6 Section 8", no new Lot number had been allocated. James WEBB sold his part of Lot 6 to John WEBB in 1873 and a new Certificate of Title was issued (Vol.169 Folio 206), no new Lot number had been allocated and was still referred to as "part of Allotment 6 Section 8". John WEBB was made insolvent in 1878 and the part Lot was transmitted to Alfred SANDERNAN, an Official Assignee. This part Lot was then sold as "part of Allotment 6 Section 8" to the Council of Education in 1878 and a new Ceretificate of Title was issued (Vol.342 Folio 75). [This is the land that is mentioned in Selina Andersons Essay when the Council of Education purchased land for the school teachers residence.] The Council of Education sold the part Lot in 1966 to William AYRES and his wife. Th AYRES family sold the part Lot to Walter HAMILTON in 1970 who then sold it to Malcolm DRINKWATER and his wife in 1978. The DRINKWATERS sold the part Lot to Peter SHEERAN in 1982. The current status of this part of Lot 6 Section 8 is Lot 2 DP34818. John GOLDING retained the other part of Lot 6 consisting of 26½ perches until 1881 when he sold it to James DAGGER. James WEBB sold his Lot to John WEBB in Sep 1873 |
